FAQ

How do you edit?

Each image you receive in your gallery will be hand-edited by me. I do not outsource my editing + I do not apply one-click presets. My images are 100% authentic to my unique style. I take my time to create a mood based upon the style of your session, the lighting + environment. Though each gallery is edited tailored to the vibes of the session, they are all edited to be consistent with my portfolio.

Please note that I do not alter my clients in Photoshop. I may fix distracting elements, temporary blemishes, etc. But I will not alter who you are. Please do not ask me to do so, as I am afraid you would be disappointed with my answer. While I understand we all have physical hangups, I think you're beautiful, + I bet everyone else does too.

How will I receive my photos?

Your photos will be delivered in an online password protected gallery by Pixieset wherein you can view, download, share and even order prints through my professional lab. Your prints will come with a print release, however, I do not give printing rights to consumer labs such as Shutterfly, CVS, Target, Walgreens, Costco, etc. as the quality just does not give justice to the beautiful heirloom created for you. Why spend money on filet mignon only to serve it on a paper plate? You've invested in the act of taking extraordinary photos, now invest in preserving and displaying them in a way that showcases their value!

When will I get my photos?

My portrait sessions take 4-6 weeks to fully hand edit and deliver.

My elopement/wedding galleries take 8-10 weeks.

What kind of gear do you use?

I shoot with a Sony a7R iii and a Sony a7 iii + I use Sony and Sigma glass. I am a natural light photographer, you will occasionally see me using artificial light for event shoots when required. I do not use flash for ANY of my outdoor or studio sessions.

Do you shoot weddings?

I shoot elopements + small ceremony weddings. I greatly prefer smaller, more intimate ceremonies because they allow a true connection between Bride, Groom, + their small number of guests. I will accept larger ceremonies 2-3 times per year. My own husband + I were married in a planned elopement in the mountains of Oregon + I don't regret a single moment of such a special + intimate moment for ourselves.

*UPDATE* Due to the ever changing Covid 19 restrictions, I will not be accepting any weddings or elopements at public venues.

Frank

As a single Father of two, I was a bit nervous to have photos taken. I had never seen professional photographs of just Fathers and their children. I was so relieved when I met with Krissy. She made my boys and I feel so comfortable. She was caring and patient. She made us feel like this wasn't a photo shoot; but a fun experience with photos being taken along the way. She was able to capture the special moments Fathers have with their sons and I am forever grateful to have these moments documented.
